Last Five Years of Robert E. Lee's Life

Through his presentation, Jim will discuss Lee's efforts, from the Fall of 1865 until his death, on October 12, 1870, as President of Washington College in Lexington, Virginia to revive and rebuild the war-torn institution. In honor of his successful efforts, the college was renamed as Washington and Lee College.
